We are looking to close a chapter in our lives. We have lived in a wonderful home on the top of a hill with the most beautiful view of Lancaster County for 30 years. I lived on the same hill most of my life as my parents home is there also. It is a great place to live, but after all these years, I would like to live in a small town where I can walk to see things.

I love to walk but where we are now , the roads have become too busy to walk safely. I would love parks for the grand babies, downtown for lunch or a coffee, browse the shops and maybe start another small shop ourselves. But we have been looking for a house for two years. We have turned down a few, lost a few, but our house has not been found. I do not want to move to something that isn’t special since this will probably be our last family home. 

As you can imagine, this is stretching my patience.

I have packed the house, purged, sold, sent things to thrift shops and put in storage what is in question or saving for our children but no house. I have painted, cleaned, and organized but no house. So, I pray and enjoy every sunrise and sunset we view from the top of the hill. Storing up all the memories so I have them when we move on, to many new happy memories.
